My name is Barbara Graver. I’m a paranormal and fantasy fiction writer. I have an online publication called Writing on the Spectrum, host the Autistic POV podcast and am hard at work on a memoir about my neurodivergent spiritual journey. I was late-diagnosed with autism in 2022 and with ADHD in 2025.
I live in North Appalachia with my three adult sons and a lovable but wild little border collie named Luna. I enjoy reading, writing and hiking. My special interests include ancient mysterious, mythology. tarot, the paranormal, and spirituality.
My Writing and Media
I grew up on Dark Shadows, Gothic fiction, and ghost stories—and have been writing paranormal and fantasy stories ever since.
Manuscripts and short stories piled up on my computer but I never felt my work was good enough to publish. Workshops and critiques groups and how-to-write books didn’t help. Finally a diagnosis of autism and ADHD, helped me see my writing and my life in a very different way.
I am now about to publish my very first vampire story, Trancing Miranda. A memoir and second chance romance are in the works. All of my fiction includes neurodivergent characters and themes.

My Tarot Readings
