My name is Barbara Graver. I’m a Catholic writer, designer, holistic nurse and mom to three adult sons (and one wild and crazy border collie).
I enjoy reading, writing, design, flea market shopping, blogging, podcasting, learning about herbs, walking, photography and hanging out with my family. I collect books, rosaries and vintage religious items.
I’m currently working on two books – a Catholic-friendly paranormal novel and my personal testimony. I blog about writing and design here on this site, and talk about faith, modern day occultism, holistic healing and more on my podcast / blog at NewAgeToCatholic.com
I have a BS in Nursing from Misericordia University and studied commercial art at our local community college. I’ve worked as a waitress, registered nurse, carnival consessionaire and in the graphic design department of our local newspaper.
I’m a member of an SSPX Roman Catholic Chapel, the Catholic Writers Guild, the Christian Herbalist Guild, and the American Holistic Nurses Association. I’m currently working on a certificate in the Science and Art of Herbalism.
I was deeply involved in the New Age and occult before coming back to my Catholic Faithand have shared on that topic both in my blog and on YouTube. My podcast, New Age To Catholic, includes my testimony (episodes 1 & 3).

My testimony tells the story of my experience in the New Age and occult and why I returned to the Catholic faith. It should be out in early to mid 2024.
I am also working on a rewrite of an old vampire novel in order to reframe it in a more Catholic friendly light. My work-in-progress novel is about relationships, ghost hunting and the life of faith.

My Etsy Shop
I opened my first Etsy shop, Catholic Book And Card, in order to sell printable Catholic prayer cards, prayer pamphlets and related items I’d begun to design for myself and friends during the COVID19 lockdown. When finished, I’ll also be making my testimony ebook available through the shop.
